As a young boy I spent a summer holiday with a cousin of my father. Harald had a nice shack with lots of self build equipment. I was very impressed to see him operate in CW communications with other hams across continents. It didn't take a long time for

me to decide that this hobby would be also the one for me. One of my first projects was a simple audio circut which would allow me to listen to comercial radio stations under the bed cover after having been sent to sleep by parents.

The next project was a 0-V-1 receiver build with components and by circuit drawing from Harald.

So I started as a SWL in my young days.
